Nyangena spearheads our mission to eliminate barriers hindering Africa's participation in carbon markets. He provides strategic alignment and is the vision bearer for the company. Nyangena holds a Bsc. in Actuarial Science, an MSc. In mathematical finance, an MSc. in Financial Engineering, and is currently pursuing a PhD. in Blockchain.

Evans leads the development and execution of business strategies to expand our presence across the continent. He oversees day to day operations at Verst Carbon in addition to spearheading the development of our digital MRV solutions. His educational background, includes an ongoing MSc in Sustainable Energy Transitions and a BSc in Actuarial Science.

COO

Sure is responsible for establishing relationships with investors and securing funding for our carbon projects. He develops and executes innovative financing strategies, advises on fundraising, and supports projects to get investor-ready which brings valuable expertise in leveraging emerging technologies in carbon markets.

Ian Mutai is the technology lead at Verst Carbon. He brings to the team his extensive experience in building successful tech startups. He is tasked with providing strategic and technical guidance to our tech team. Ian Mutai holds Bsc. in Software Engineering and an Msc. in Information Systems and Technology.
