The Rockefeller Foundation
This project aims to assess the potential of unlocking carbon credits to fund school meals through clean cooking initiatives. It involves conducting a baseline study on current school cooking infrastructure, fuel use, and GHG emissions. A comprehensive project design document will be developed to guide RF’s collaboration with governments on transitioning to clean cooking.
CLASP
The project’s initiative focuses on unlocking the potential of carbon credits to scale up the distribution of solar-powered appliances. Long-term growth in the solar appliance market, especially in underserved areas, requires increased financing options and diverse financial tools.
EED Advisory
In collaboration with EED Advisory, Verst Carbon was engaged to perform carbon credit due diligence for a clean cooking initiative in Kenya, which took place between October and December 2023.
