About The Project
From September 2023 to February 2024, Verst Carbon facilitated a comprehensive Sustainability Workshop for DEIB in Kenya, designed to build capacity among corporate professionals on managing and reducing emissions across their value chains.
This workshop focused on educating participants about Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and Product Lifecycle Assessment (LCA). The goal was to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to assess and mitigate their organizations’ environmental impact, ensuring sustainability is integrated into corporate decision-making processes.

The DEIB Sustainability Workshop had a profound impact on the participating companies and professionals, significantly enhancing their capacity to manage environmental sustainability in corporate settings.
By the end of the workshop, participants were not only knowledgeable about emissions and lifecycle assessments but also capable of implementing sustainability initiatives that align with corporate goals and global standards.
