We are thrilled to be part of this year’s Clean Cooking Week hosted by the Clean Cooking Association of Kenya (CCAK). This year’s theme “Strategy to Action: Partner, Invest and Implement” perfectly resonates with one of our goals, scaling clean cooking solutions through carbon finance. This gathering emphasizes the power of collaboration to drive clean energy transitions across Africa.
We were honored to have the Principal Secretary for Energy, Alex Wachira, visit our booth where we are showcasing our cutting-edge Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (hashtag#dMRV) System alongside our partners, Nyalore Impact Limited. Our dMRV system is a breakthrough innovation for transparent and real-time monitoring and verification of the impact of clean cooking initiatives, which is key to unlocking carbon finance to expand clean cooking and drive climate action.
Verst Carbon alongside Nyalore Impact Limited showcased the Qooker Digi Electric Pressure Cooker (EPC) embedded with a smart meter developed by Verst Carbon.
The remote metering functionality will enable Nyalore Impact to monitor, report and verify parameters for development and implementation of a clean cooking carbon project.
